We believe all brands should be changing the way they approach fast fashion and production and should in some way play a part in the slow fashion movement, meaning less markdowns and overproduction. This means switching to sustainable and eco-friendly materials like linen, organic cotton, modal and materials made with recycled plastic bottles.
We choose to partner with fashion brands that take a trans-seasonal approach to their designs. This could be by designing styles that can be worn in all seasons and by using sustainable materials that adapt to the season like linen, certified organic cotton or Tencel.
The Reform Store places a particular focus on Australian made and owned brands whilst also ranging product from sustainable international brand like Superga, Cecile Copenhagen, Teva and more.
Good design partners with good quality materials, meaning a longer life cycle out of your products.
How We Minimise our Impact:
We take a number of steps to minimise its our own environmental impact.
In particular, we only deliver with carbon-neutral couriers, we opt in for Heaps Good Packaging to ship in biodegradable and waterproof satchels, and we proudly partners with 1% For the Planet, where we give directly to highly vetted, non-profit environmental organisations.
We are plastic free in all our packaging. Any soft plastics that are sent to The Reform Store are collected and disposed responsibly of at our local REDcycle program.
