BAMBOO BODY
Bamboo Body, based in Caringbah in Sydney's south, was founded by sisters Amanda and Elouise in 2005.
From humble beginnings working out of their mum's garage, Bamboo Body now has Australia's biggest range of bamboo clothing.
Discovering Bamboo Fabric - The Early Days
The business began as a retail fashion store in Brisbane. Many of the store's customers were impacted by the summer heat, so the sisters went on the hunt for a comfortable, breathable fabric to meet the needs of their shoppers and also compliment their clothing designs.
After searching all over the world for a fabric that would suit their needs, the sisters were introduced to bamboo fabric which was relatively new at the time. They discovered that bamboo fabric was incredibly soft and breathable and were amazed by its beautiful drape.
Completely intrigued by the new fabric, Amanda and Elouise embarked on a journey of discovery to find out everything they could about bamboo fabric, the bamboo plant, and the plight of the textile industry.
The more Elouise and Amanda researched bamboo, the more they found reasons to fall in love with both bamboo fabric and the plant itself. Growing up in an eco-conscious family they were excited to discover that not only was bamboo fabric incredibly beautiful, it was also a sustainable alternative to cotton and synthetic material textiles.
Amanda and Elouise agreed that bamboo fabric had all the properties their customers were asking for in their store. It also sat perfectly with their eco ideals. They went about designing their first five garments and from there their bamboo collection grew.
BAMBOO BODY IS BORN
Completely captivated by the unique nature of bamboo fabric, the pair looked beyond the starter collection they had designed for their store to make their luxuriously soft, stylish and sustainable bamboo clothing accessible to everybody.
They launched their first line of everyday style essentials under the Bamboo Body label in 2006. Bamboo Body has since expanded rapidly and now offers a vast collection of bamboo clothing for women and men, all designed in Australia.
With an unwavering philosophy of ‘look good, feel good, do good’, every piece from Bamboo Body is ethically produced and offers the best in both comfort and style, whatever your shape or size.

2. Wait for approval of the Exchange and the Returns address for your item.
3. Post the item to the Returns address within 14 days of requesting your Exchange and enter the parcel tracking number in your account, or send it via email to info@thereformstore.com
4. Once the original item is received we will send you the replacement item.
